Diane Taber, singer/songwriter, began her career at fourteen, performing with the Ray Anthony orchestra. Among numerous jazz talents she has worked with are the Lou Brown orchestra, Don Menza, Anne Fadale, Sam Noto, Joe Azarello, Mike Breen, Dick Fadale, Wally Schuman, Ray Chamberlain, and Sam Scammaca. Diane began writing music in 2006.

Krista Seddon is a featured soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and is exclusive transcriber/copyist for Marian McPartland. She works with arrangers/orchestrators Alan Broadbent and Robert Nowak, is Dir. Of Ensembles at historic Trinity Episcopal Church, and appears in classical and jazz venues in Europe, Asia, and the U.S.

Bud Fadale (son of the late and esteemed jazz pianist Anne Fadale) began his career playing in the Army Band while stationed in Berlin, Germany where he worked with such greats as Carmel Jones, Slide Hampton, Duke Ellington. Closer to home in Amherst, NY, Bud has played with many fine jazz musicians including Tom Schuman, the late Chu Nero, and currently leads his own trio, Symmetry.

Carmen Intorre, Jr., graduate of The Juilliard School, has performed with numerous musicians such as Pat Martino, George Benson, Wynton Marsalis, Joey DeFrancesco, the late Al Tinney, and Larry Coryell. Carmen appears at Blue Note (Milano), Cotton Club (Tokyo), Blue Note and Birdland (NYC). He was featured in the PBS special, “Legends of Jazz” alongside Dr. Lonnie Smith.

Harry Fackelman toured for years with the Amherst Saxophone Quartet and has performed and recorded with both classical and jazz artists. He has played in many professional musical theatre productions in Buffalo and teaches saxophone at the University at Buffalo.

Jeanne Fadale, singer/flutist has performed and recorded with jazz and R&B groups with a variety of fine musicians including Tom Schuman. She was flutist in a Renaissance trio with husband, bassist/cellist Bud Fadale and late, great jazz pianist, Anne Fadale.

Clarissa Markiewicz got her musical start in choral ensembles and piano, but her professional experience lies in jazz/ rock/ pop vocals. She has performed as lead vocalist throughout New England, and at New York’s Bowery Poetry Club.

Thank you to the wonderful musicians and engineers who brought your amazing talents and passion for music to this recording. What a great experience to work with you; the songs became complete through your artistry. Most of us have shared roots in the Western New York area and I’m glad we were able to get together there for this project. A special thank you to Kevin Scott, keyboardist/singer, and my CT musical colleague. The title of this album reflects the influences that a variety of cultures and genres have on the music I write. It, also, recognizes the collaborative mix of all the talents represented on this recording. The overall recipe is a blend of many. Bon appétit!
